About CRIPA

The Swine and Poultry Infectious Diseases Research Center (CRIPA) consists of more than 40 researchers working in fundamental or applied research from six universities, five agencies and governmental research centers, and two private institutions. The FRQNT Research cluster program is supporting the CRIPA.

Their research contributes to development of preventive and therapeutic strategies aiming to fight infectious diseases responsible for important economic losses in the swine and poultry industries, as well as those that represent a danger for public health.
